While Peter Figures is in Nashville playing with the country stars, Brad Bergen will usually be sitting in on drums.

Pick of the Crop brings top country music to the Hunter Valley, NSW every week. The host Rob Wilson is a singer songwriter from the Hunter, winner of the 2008 Best Male Vocalist at the TIARA awards during the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and the ACMLA Peoples' Choice Award in 2005.

The band, The Honky Tonk Swing Band, is made up of excellent musicians from around the Hunter Valley. On lead guitar is Brad Rose, on piano is Chad Plane, on drums Peter Figures, on bass guitar Rod Coe, with Rob Wilson on Vocals and Rhythm guitar.

The Pick of the Crop Country Music Show is held in Cessnock at the Cessnock Ex Services Club in the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia, a short drive from Newcastle, Maitland, Singleton, Scone, Port Stephens, the Central Coast, Nelson Bay, and Muswellbrook. Live country gigs with with a full country band.
